Zelda Minish Cap Theme Delayed…

December 30, 2009

I’m not sure how many of you were looking forward to the 5.0 version of the Zelda Minish Cap Theme.

But I’m sad to say that progress in this application has been delayed due to compatibility issues.

I recently received a Macbook Pro, and use it for almost every aspect of this blog now.

My PC is so old, that I simply refuse to use it anymore… And I don’t exactly own it now.

Long story short, I cannot use any of RIM’s Theme Builder Apps on my macbook because of compatibility problems. But I am looking into programs that will emulate the PC for me so I can continue development ASAP.

Sorry.

*BerryStorm Undergoing New Construction*

December 29, 2009

BerryStorm is currently undergoing major changes to the way it stores posts, and the way that you view them.

Soon, we will open a new page where you can read intense reviews of any application, without needing to backtrack along our previous posts. Every article regarding new versions of applications will show only the new features and version number. To get download info and detailed reviews, you will need to follow a link to a master post.

What we hope to accomplish by doing this is to provide an easier, more organized way for you to read about applications, and also keep old reviews from becoming outdated. That way, we can avoid redundant writing, and you can find information quickly and easily.

Viigo RSS Reader Updated to Version 3.1.507

December 29, 2009

viigo

It’s been a long time since Viigo saw it’s last update – A little over three months I believe.

But sadly, there are no major updates in this release, that is, unless you own the Blackberry Storm 2.

Users of the Storm 2 have reported increased browsing speeds throughout the entire application, which apparently used to be a problem in previous versions. Since there isn’t an official change log for the original Storm, I can only speculate as to what the new features are.

-Scrolling between the main menus of the application seems to have been improved.

-Articles load faster

If you notice anything new worth mentioning, please comment below!

Download OTA Here.

Or you can use the Blackberry App World.

Exclusiveness Of BerryStorm Finalized! (And Other Things That Only Our Dedicated Visitors Care About)

December 16, 2009

I had initially planned to make this decision before the beginning of November, but due to a lack of comments and other rapidly changing circumstances, it was delayed until this date. Sorry-

About 2 months ago I posted an article concerning the exclusiveness of BerryStorm and wanted you to decide whether or not this website should be focused around only the Original Blackberry Storm, or be updated to include information About the Blackberry Storm 2.

My decision is…

We will remain focused on the original Blackberry Storm, leaving the Storm 2 to another website until we feel the need to do otherwise.

Yes. You can now spread the news to all of your friends.    😉

Opera Mini Browser Releases Beta Version 2

December 2, 2009

Opera Mini has updated the beta version of their web browser for the blackberry smartphone.

This is the second installment of the Beta Series, and contains an array of new features, (more than I can mention here).

The most important fixes are the download manager, and the google search bug.

The new download manager includes the ability to download multiple files at once, and even pause/resume downloads!

This is the probably the most the stable version of Opera Mini we have seen yet, so hurry and download it when you get a free chance.

(PS_Sorry in advance for the weak post, I know you probably want more info about this awesome app, but truth be told, I don’t exactly have a lot of free time on my hands right now. I just wanted to make sure you knew about the Beta Update though)

Download it OTA Herehttp://www.mini.opera.com/next/
