UrbanSpoon Restaurant Guide Finally Makes It’s Way Into Blackberry Smartphones!

If you suffer from making difficult decisions, (Such as where to eat for lunch), UrbanSpoon is the application for you!

*although it may also make your condition worse*

Urbanspoon was previously available to Apple iPhone users only, but now blackberry users can also use this neat restaurant guide to find the perfect place to eat!

As soon as the app opens, you will see the ability to, Use Your GPS Location, Choose Your City, or Use the Last Location.

Having GPS compatibility built into the app really helps in those situations where you don’t have time to figure out where you are, what’s around, and then trying to insert that information into your blackberry, all in a timely fashion.

As you can see from the above pictures, There are three columns on the main screen of the application. When you shake your blackberry, the columns spin around until they stop on a random value, (a lot like a lottery game).

Depending on what the slots stop on, (location, style of food, and price) UrbanSpoon will search for restaurants that meet these criteria and display the name if the chosen restaurant at the bottom of the screen.

As an added feature, you can also scroll through the list of slot values until you find a preferable choice and then lock that column into place, so that it wont spin when you shake the device.

It’s a great application and I would recommend downloading it when you get the chance.

If not for the functionality, then at least so you can match your iPhone buddies when it comes to finding a nice place to eat.
