I don’t own a Mac, but I know that so many of my readers do, especially the one that commented that the iPhone wins hands down.

Anyway, you will all be happy to know that a Mac Version of the Blackberry Desktop Manager has been released!
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe that the version is 1.0.0.
Some of the main new features are;
Whether it’s a specific iTunes® playlist or a random mix of tunes, it’s easy to sync the music from your Mac computer to your BlackBerry smartphone.
Your contacts, calendar appointments, tasks and notes can be synchronized with popular Mac applications.
Transfer data between BlackBerry smartphones, back up and restore information manually or automatically, and add or remove applications.
It still baffles me that RIM was able to last this long without needing to release this desktop manager earlier. I’ve known too many people that gave up trying to use other unofficial desktop managers so their blackberries would work on their apple computers.
This really should have been released months and months ago…
